The Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough is an ideal area  for walkers who want to get off the beaten track. The scenic beauty and the diverse landscape make the Borough a great place to explore on foot. In recent years the council has been working to provide opportunities to enjoy the countryside in this mainly rural, farming area through the assertion of public rights of way, the development of new routes and the provision of facilities such as car parks, viewpoints and picnic sites.
