From Monday 2 July 2012 Banbridge Leisure Centre will open at the usual time of 7am but close one hour earlier at 10pm Monday to Friday. The centre’s weekend opening and closing times will remain unchanged.

Banbridge District Council is introducing this change in a bid to keep the centre’s running costs down and ensure it is not placing an unnecessary financial burden on local ratepayers.

This change will affect the use of the pool and fitness suite as well as the hire of certain facilities within the centre.

The pool will close at 9.30pm with no more admissions allowed after 9pm and the fitness suite will close at 10pm. 

The outdoor pitch can be booked on an hourly basis with all bookings commencing on the hour.  The last booking for the outdoor pitch is 9pm to 10pm and the last off peak booking is 4pm to 5pm.

All bookings for courts one to four in the main hall can be hired on the hour. The last booking for these courts is 9pm to 10pm and the last off peak booking is 4pm to 5pm.

Bookings for courts five and six will remain on the half hour. The last off peak booking for these courts is 4.45pm to 5.15pm and peak bookings are available from 5.15pm until 9.45pm.
