Q1. I suspect that I developed food poisoning after eating out in a local restaurant. What should I do?
A1. Contact your local Doctor to have food poisoning confirmed. The Southern Health and Social Services Board notify the Environmental Health Department of all confirmed cases of food poisoning, who then carry out an investigation.

Q2. What types of licences does the Environmental Health Department issue?
A2. Entertainment Licences, Petroleum Licences, Street Trading Licences, Caravan Site Licences, Approved Places for Marriage, Amusement Permits, Registration of Lotteries, Hairdressers, Tattooists, Body Piercing, Electrolysosis and Acupuncture. 

Q3. I can't seem to rid of mice who keep invading my home. Who can I contact for advice and help? Does Environmental Health provide a pest control service?
A3. The Environmental Health Department does not provide a Pest Control Service. Providers of this type of service can be found in Yellow Pages.

Q4. I have recently set up a new business in the Banbridge District and I want to ensure it meets Health and Safety regulations. Can Environmental Health help me to do this?
