Public Conveniences

The majority of Banbridge District's public toilets are maintained and managed by the Council. The location and opening times of these toilets are as follows:

Monday-Saturday all year round (8.00am to 6.00pm )
Maintained by two full-time toilet attendants.  
Banbridge
(Kenlis Street)		 Monday-Sunday all year round (24 hours/day )
Self cleaning toilets are available next to the main block of toilets and cost 20p per use.
Dromore
(The Square)		 Monday-Sunday all year round (8.30am-6.00pm)
Maintained by one part-time toilet attendant one hour per day.
Dromore
(Banbridge Road)		 Monday-Sunday from March to October (8.30am-6.00pm) 
Maintained by one part-time toilet attendant one hour per day.  
Rathfriland
(John Street)		 Monday-Sunday all year round (8.30am-6.00pm)
Maintained by one part-time toilet attendant one hour per day.  
Gilford
(Mill Street)		 Monday-Sunday all year round (8.30am-6.00pm)
Maintained by one part-time toilet attendant one hour per day.  
Scarva
(Main Street) 		Monday-Sunday all year round (8.30am-6.00pm)
Maintained by one part-time toilet attendant one hour per day.

Maintained by one part-time toilet attendant one hour per day.   
Loughbrickland 
(Public Park) 		Monday-Sunday from March to October (8.30am-6.00pm) 
Maintained by one part-time toilet attendant one hour per day.   
Katesbridge 
(Picnic Area) 		Monday-Sunday from March to October (8.30am-6.00pm) 
Maintained by one part-time toilet attendant one hour per day.   

It is the responsibility of each toilet attendant to clean, provide toiletries and have their facility available for use by 8.30am each morning. They are also responsible for securing the facilities each evening. Special keys allowing access to toilets for people with disabilities are available for the public toilets in Dromore and Banbridge (Kenlis Street). It is the Council's aim to ensure that all visitors are satisfied with the standard of its toilet facilities. If you use a facility and are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact the Council's Technical Services Department.
