Department Description:
The Corporate Services Department is primarily responsible for the management of four service areas within the Council. These are Registration (births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships), Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology. It also has responsibility for ensuring the Council meets legislative requirements in relation to areas such as Freedom of Information, Equality and Best Value.
