It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Council's new interactive website. This website demonstrates our commitment to improving the way in which we communicate with you. It has been developed with you in mind, whether you are a resident, business owner or visitor. It has also been designed for your convenience and contains information on all aspects of life in the District.  If you would like to be kept informed about Council services, facilities and initiatives or would like to find out about everything from rates to recycling, from sports to safety, from festivals to funding, from towns to tourism and much more, this is definitely the site to bookmark and recommend to all your friends and family!

Visitors to the District will also find it full of information about events, activities, accommodation and attractions. Potential investors and local businesses will find it full of information about business support and space.  

This website also gives you a chance to let us know how well you think we are performing in the provision of Council services. You can send us your comments, complaints or compliments about any aspect of Council business. We would also like to hear what you think about the website itself and how it can be improved.

The website does not of course replace the personal one-to-one service which has been traditionally delivered by this Council, but it does allow you easy access twenty-four hours a day to nearly everything you will need to know about local government in the Banbridge District. In keeping with e-government developments, we hope to be able to offer online purchasing at a later date via this site as a means to making our services more accessible.
