Corbet Lough

Corbet Lough is a spinning/fly only lough offering mostly Rainbow Trout with a smaller amount of Brown Trout available. Early season flys include Ace of Spades, Montana Nymph and Viva. From June onwards, Hoopers and Sedge Patterns are available. A good all year round fly is Hare Ear Nymph.

Corbet Lough has recently been updated to allow easier access to wheelchair fishers. Contact the Fishing Lodge at Corbet Lough on 028 4062 5039 for bookings and enquiries. This has included widened fishing berths and new specially designed boats for wheelchair users, as provided by the Wheelyboat Trust.

Over 18 – Adult Banbridge Angling Club Day ticket required. Under 18 – Juvenile Banbridge Angling Day Club ticket required.

Directions: From Banbridge, take the A50 in the direction of Castlewellan and Newcastle.  Corbet Lough is situated approximately 5.5 km from Banbridge on the left hand side of the road.
