This was the first established twinning link and 2004 saw the 10th Anniversary of the formal Twinning Agreement and Charter between the two towns. Over the past decade, various exchanges have taken place annually between schools, local youth groups and sports groups. It is estaimated that over 200 individuals from the District have taken part in various exchanges. Many lasting friendships have been forged. |
