| If your family has connections to the South County Down area and you would like help in tracing your ancestors, then why don’t you contact the local genealogical research service provided by the Banbridge Tourist Information Office. Banbridge Genealogy Services can help you trace your ancestors in the South County Down area using a database of birth, marriage and death records. The service costs £15 for an initial search with an additional £3 for any record printed out from the search. This fee is payable whether the search is successful or not in order to cover costs. The service is normally available from Monday to Friday during the hours of 10am and 5pm. However, it is recommended that you book an appointment for a consultation.
