Open Call for Grant Applications

Down Rural Area Partnership seeks applications from private individuals aged over 18 years, social economy enterprises, eligible community based organisations, non-departmental public bodies and local councils who wish to apply for funding. DRAP will open for applications from Friday 1st March 2013 for potential projects based within, or which demonstrate clear impact within the rural local authority area of Ards, Banbridge, Down and North Down, for the following measures:
• Measure 3.1 – Diversification into Non-Agricultural Activities – Technical Support Fund and Capital & Resource Fund
• Measure 3.2 – Business Creation & Development – Technical Support Fund and Capital & Resource Fund
• Measure 3.5 – Village Renewal and Development – Technical Support and Capital & Resource Fund
Applications can be made online from 9.00am on Friday 1st March 2013 through the EU Grants website www.eugrants.org or hard copy application forms can be obtained by contacting Down Rural Area Partnership office on 028 9182 0748. Guidance notes for the above measures are available on the this website under the ‘Applying for Funding’ section. This call will close on Tuesday 30th April 2013 at 4.00pm. Applications submitted after this date and time will not be accepted.

Please note for Measure 3.1 and 3.2: If planning permission (to include change of use) is required for a proposed project then
the relevant planning permission approval must be in place by 4pm on Tuesday 30th April 2013 otherwise the application will be rejected.
Please note for Measure 3.5: If planning permission (to include change of use) is required for a proposed project then applicants must have formally started the planning process. If a planning reference number is not in place by 4pm on Tuesday 30th April 2013.
